To begin, we would like to thank you for your time - and for considering the UFCA Scholarship Programme as an option for the next stage of your development.
At UFCA, we’ve been working tirelessly to improve, develop and grow - in what has been an incredibly challenging year for all involved.
Although there hasn’t been much football played on the grass, the time away has enabled us to put in place some crucial foundations for our future - in the form of strategic partnerships, infrastructure and recruitment.
Deciding what to do after leaving school is a really important decision for your future.
In short, we believe our programme provides the perfect blend of education and sporting opportunities - allowing young people to reach their potential.
It fills us with immense pride to see what some of our former scholars are getting up to - whether it’s at a professional club, studying at university or college - or something completely different. Our programme encourages individuals to find their pathway - whatever that may be.
We really appreciate your consideration, and it would be a privilege to welcome you to our family for the 2021/22 season.
Yours In Sport,
Steve Hart & Steve Grime

YORKSHIRE AMATEUR PARTNERSHIP
We’re proud to have a direct partnership with ambitious Leeds based club Yorkshire Amateur AFC.
Currently playing in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division, the Ammers have a ten-year strategic plan to reach the National League.
Former Manchester City and England defender Micah Richards began his career with the Ammers.
The partnership allows UFCA Scholars to compete in the FA Youth Cup, National League Youth Alliance U19s, and West Riding U23s Division.
In addition, we recommend players for the Yorkshire Amateur first-team - which provides a direct pathway into the English football pyramid.
Veo is an automated camera solution that enables sports teams to record and analyse matches and training sessions without the need for a camera operator.
Veo films the whole pitch at once, and then uses AI to process the game, track the ball and automatically clip key events.
All HD footage is uploaded to an online portal - which is easily accessed by players and coaches alike.
PlayerTek is a revolutionary GPS tracking system which allows players and coaches to measure performance in detail.
The system provides insights into all aspects of performance - including distance covered, top speed, sprint efforts and power outputs.
All data and information is easily accessed via your computer and mobile - enabling you to set targets and improve all aspects of performance.
“UFCA are the premier private academy in the North of England.
"We at Rotherham United have had the opportunity to form a fantastic relationship with them over the past few years. We have a designated games programme with them throughout the season which has led to a number of players being signed by Rotherham United.
”The programme that Steve Hart runs is a programme that allows players to excel in an academy environment. They have a fantastic ethos and developing the player and the individual which is something we try and do at the football club.
"All their players are given first class coaching which prepares them for the next step of their football journey. I am delighted to recommend the programme to any aspiring footballer.”
