We are looking forward to welcoming you next week for our open training sessions.

By now you should have received and email/text to confirm which day it is you have been asked to attend (if you have not received an email please check your junk/you have entered the wrong email address and it has bounced back).

Here are some further details of the open sessions:

Arrive on site at 12.45pm for a 1.00pm start, you will be directed to what team you are on and where to register by a member of UFCA staff, you will be handed a bib that is specific to your name so we assess you in both the sessions and the games.

You will also be given your GPS vest to wear once you have enter the 4G by our Head of Sports Science Ben Tooley.

Due to FA Covid regulations, there will be no changing rooms open, so we ask that you come changed ready to train in your own kit (As above we will supply bibs).

You will need to wear shin pads and also have moulded boots as the sessions is on a 4G surface so not metal studs are allowed.

We suggest that you bring enough water to last you for the full session as only the toilet facilities will be open, again due to the FA Covid regulations.

  • A face mask must be worn at all times other than when you are taking part in the football session (Arrival, registration, Leaving).

  • Please adhere to good hand hygiene, sanitation points will be spread out across the facility.

  • Please bring all your belongings in a bag (Water, Boots etc) that can be easily recognisable to you, that you can place safely on your own socially distanced point.

  • If you are coming with a parent or Guardian, current FA guidance states that it must only be ONE member, they will be directed to a spectator point and must also follow social distancing rules.

We will be taking photos and filming the sessions and trial game on our Veo platform, some of these will be shared on social media, if anyone has any issues with this please email beforehand and we will make sure that you are not included.

On registration, please check that you have put the correct email and phone number, as we will be emailing all players that are involved in the sessions a link to both the game footage and media from the day, your own personalised GPS data in a PDF and also the next steps on securing your place as a UFCA scholar.
