Ultimate Football Coaching Academy are delighted to announce the appointment of Sam Dexter as Scholarship Manager and Professional Phase Lead.
Dexter, who holds a degree in Sports Coaching and Performance Management, will oversee the delivery of the UFCA Scholarship Programme - working alongside Simon Armstrong and Steve Grime.
He boasts an impressive footballing background, and is currently First Team Manager at Ilkley Town (Step 6), following a number of seasons as Under 23s Manager and First Team Assistant Manager.
During his tenure as Under 23s Manager at Ilkley Town, Dexter's side were crowned champions of the West Riding FA U23s Premier Division in the 2021/22 season.
He is a former Leeds United Academy Coach, and has also coached abroad in the United States and Norway.
Dexter commented: "I'm delighted to be here and I'm really excited to get started.
"My role at the beginning will be to look at the Scholarship Programme and how we can improve key areas, through various partnerships and off-field strategies.
"The UFCA Scholarship Programme is already a really renowned programme - and we want to make sure it can be the best it can."
Steve Grime, UFCA Director, commented: "We're really proud and pleased to welcome Sam Dexter onboard as Scholarship Manager.
"Sam brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise, that will add lots of value to our hugely succesful Scholarship Programme.
