Ultimate Football Coaching Academy are delighted to share that our recent showcase fixtures against The New Saints (TNS) proved to be hugely successful.
The Welsh giants travelled to Sports Park Weetwood across Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th May - for a series of exciting matches from Under 8s to Under 16s age groups.
The games were highly competitive, played in a positive fashion and provided a fantastic challenge for both sets of players.
Everybody at UFCA would like to thank The New Saints for making the journey to Leeds - and hope to take part in more fixtures in the near future.
Steve Hart, UFCA Director, commented: "We love playing TNS - they are a great setup.
"We've been playing them for five or six years. Obviously during COVID times we had to back off a little bit but it's great to get them back up and running again.
"It's another test for our players playing at a really good level, and a good chance for us to see where we're at as a group and as a team." Simon Armstrong, Academy Director, commented: "It's been a terrific weekend, with some fantastic football and fantastic games.
"From our perspective, it's great for our players to challenge themselves against teams of this standard.
"It's been a fantastic learning experience for us and something that we want to repeat in the future."
