UFCA and Go 2 College Soccer Announce Groundbreaking Partnership To Support Female Footballers

Ultimate Football Coaching Academy are delighted to announce a brand-new partnership with Go 2 College Soccer, in a move set to transform the future of women's football across Leeds and Bradford.

The collaboration aims to empower aspiring female footballers by offering them a unique opportunity to pursue their passion for the sport while securing a solid academic foundation.

UFCA, based in Leeds, is known for its commitment to nurturing football talent. This renowned academy has recently unveiled an exciting new development: the launch of a brand-new girls scholarship programme, set to commence in September. This groundbreaking initiative will provide girls in school Year 12 and 13 with a full-time football programme while simultaneously allowing them to pursue level three qualifications at Ralph Thoresby Sixth Form.

Go 2 College Soccer, on the other hand, specialises in placing English players into American colleges on soccer scholarships. With their expertise in college soccer recruitment, they have successfully facilitated countless opportunities for young talents to further their education while continuing to excel in soccer.

The UFCA-Go 2 College Soccer partnership will provide a top-notch support system for young female athletes enrolled in UFCA's new Girls Scholarship programme. Here are some of the key benefits:

  1. Education and Sporting Excellence: UFCA's new programme will enable girls to focus on their football skills while also pursuing level three qualifications, providing them with valuable academic credentials.

  2. US College Soccer Opportunities: Through Go 2 College Soccer's extensive network and expertise, talented players from UFCA's Girls programme will have the opportunity to explore scholarships at American colleges. This opens up a world of possibilities for those aspiring to balance academics and sports at the collegiate level.

  3. Mentorship and Guidance: The partnership will provide mentorship and guidance to help participants navigate the college application process, making it easier for them to seize opportunities in the United States.

  4. Showcasing Talent: Go 2 College Soccer will actively showcase the talents of the young female footballers, creating visibility and interest among American colleges seeking talented recruits.

  5. Pathway to Professional Football: The collaboration will also serve as a pathway for those who aspire to play professionally, as the combination of top-tier training and academic qualifications can open doors to the highest levels of the sport.

UFCA's Director, Steve Grime, expressed his excitement about the partnership, saying, "We are thrilled to join forces with Go 2 College Soccer. This partnership is an exciting development for our new girls' programme. It not only enhances the opportunities available to our female footballers but also underscores our commitment to their all-round development and career prospects."

Go 2 College Soccer's Founder, Jon Maloney, added, "Our mission has always been to create pathways for young talents to excel academically and athletically. UFCA's new girls' programme aligns perfectly with our vision, and we're eager to help these athletes reach their full potential."

To kick-off the partnership, UFCA and Go 2 College Soccer will be hosting a joint Open Day for female footballers in Year 10/11 on Tuesday 31st October at Bodington Football Hub. The open day will enable prospective players to receive high-level coaching from UFCA's experienced staff, as well as the opportunity to learn more about the U.S. College Soccer pathway from Go 2 College Soccer.
