UFCA are delighted to confirm that our Scholarship Programme in association with Pontefract Collieries will be competing in the National League U19 Alliance.
The prestigious league attracts clubs from the Premier League, Football League and the National League System Steps 1-5, and is a collection of some of the finest U19 teams in the country.
Teams who compete in the National League U19 Alliance combine football training with education, offering 16-19 year old's the chance to play elite youth football at U19s level and gain academic qualifications at BTEC National or Diploma level.
Steve Grime, Senior Coach at UFCA, commented: "Following the recent news about our acceptance into the FA Youth Cup, we're absolutely delighted to confirm that our partnership with Pontefract Collieries will result in UFCA entering the National League U19 Alliance.
We are proud to be able to offer our scholars a growing list of opportunities to compete at an extremely high level, and provide them the best opportunities to develop their football career."
